ByLandy ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

  • Order & contact details: name, email, shipping and billing address, and phone number when you place an order or contact us.
  • Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal). We do not store your full card details.
  • Personalisation content: photos and text you provide for custom products. These are used solely to create your order.
  • Usage data: information about how you use our site, collected via cookies and analytics tools, to improve your experience.

How we use your information

  • To process, make and deliver your orders
  • To communicate with you about your order or enquiry
  • To send marketing emails only if you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To improve our products, website and service
  • To meet our legal and tax obligations

Who we share it with

We only share your information with trusted providers who help us run our business — for example our ecommerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, and shipping carriers (Australia Post). We do not sell your personal information. Some providers may store data overseas; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled securely.

Custom photos

Photos you upload for personalised items are used only to fulfil your order and are not shared or used for any other purpose without your consent.

Data security & retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep personal information only as long as needed to fulfil orders and meet our legal obligations.

Access, correction & complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by using our contact form. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we'll work to resolve it. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
